School of Entrepreneurship and Management (SEM)aims to build a global first-class business school distinguished in entrepreneurship education by improving the creation and dissemination of entrepreneurial knowledge and incorporating the essence of Chinese and Western best-practice management experiences into education, research and entrepreneurship. SEM will be actively exploring international exchanges, and building cooperation and exchange programs with world's-top universities. Meanwhile, the University will provide internationally competitive start-up fund and support for professor's research programs, as well as assistance on the establishment of a dedicated research center.
SEM provides academic master- and doctoral-level degrees like MBA and DBA degrees in areas such as Science of Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering and Applied Economics. We also provide executive development programs.
SEM invites applications for several assistant professor (tenure-track), associate professor (tenured), and full professor (tenured) positions from candidates with research areas in Entrepreneurship and Strategy, Operations Management, Strategic Management, Business Administration, Organizational Behaviors, Human Resources Management, Information Management and e-commerce, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Statistics, International Business, Management Science and Engineering, applied economics.
Qualifications:
- Possess good professional ethics
- An earned PhD in an appropriate discipline by the time of application
- An ability to teach effectively at graduate levels
- A demonstrated ability to undertake research that has been published in high quality research outlets such as peer reviewed conference proceedings, journals or books
-A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and collegially within a business school
-A potential ability to lead his/her discipline to catch up with or surpass advanced world levels in the frontier fields
-Familiarity and experience with the China environment are desirable
Compensation and Benefits:Commencing salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experiences. Annual salary review will be conducted under the Faculty Compensation System and in accordance with the University’s prevailing policies and regulations.
